Has called my home phone about six times in as many weeks, what's really unsettling is that they ask for me by name with a distressed tone in their voice which leads you to believe someone who knows you is in trouble -

calls everyday all day !asking for somebody that does not live here

They're a 3rd-party organization that handles promotions for Verizon Wireless. They offer free phone upgrades and other plan package options that may not be available directly through Verizon. It's not *really* Verizon Wireless (which makes sense as to why the recorded message says "Thank you for _your interest in_ Verizon Wireless" as opposed to "Thank you for _calling_ Verizon Wireless"), but rather they work with them in some capacity.

this is the second day in a row that i received a call from this number - no message and hangs up when answered

I have answered calls from this caller and said hello about ten times before the call was disconnected. The thing that is creeping me out is that the person is calling both my cell phone and my home phone. Now it is really bothering me.

i had the same thing happen to me as silver, except a different magazine subscription.

sketchy and annoying

was asked to dial 9 to speak to an operator then was left waiting for about 2 minutes then hung up on..

A robotic voice said, "Is Stanford There??" I then said to repeat it because I didn't quite make it out... It then said, again, with the same voice and inflexion, "Is Stanford There??" I said, No, there's no one here by that name. It then said "I'm sorry. Well, you have a good day now."

we are on do no solicte list yet get a call from this number repeatedly.....this is a scam number

This number has called me 5 times in in the past few hours! I am sick of it!

was looking up my little brothers minutes, and noticed this, not sure what is going on with it, someone stole his phone 3 times from his job, and now he gets this phone call
